Euro cup began this week. There is definately a feeling of festivus in the air. Dutchies play monday against italy.
this is my favorite garden in the neighborhood, it is very natural. this is obviously a very small portion.
This lady bud landed on my paper flower window shade. I hope he enjoyed his visit.

My sister Ilse is going nuts with orange stuff. It's a bit over the top. Holland has to beat Romania and Italy or France to stand a chance. Stiff shit I reckon...

It's funny to see how a country can get so carried away with a bit of media propaganda regarding an event. I don't think I've ever seen people decorate their streets here for that kind of thing. They might be excited and put up a football scarf in the window or their car, but that's about it. Although, that might change if the Australian team ever work out how to play football (soccer) in the first place.

i have not witnessed this until this year where my own neighborhood joined in there was a bbq and an open tent on the street. it was festivus
