Dioptase - Stone du jour

Sneezer giving himself a much needed cleaning. complete with snot bubble for nicole.
He reaches places we can only dream of.
This is the stone Dioptase. Among it's many healing properties it is supposed to lessen nausea. Needless to say i taped that bad boy over my heart chakra during my flu. I don't know if it really helped, but I wasn't going to take it off to find out. I had days of nausea regardless but maybe it would have been worse. I went to the doctor for pills, that's what really saved me.

Goats, Sticks and Nudity, Oh My!

This isn't the Black Forest, no it's a dark day at the goat farm in Amsterdamse Bos.
The goats had the day off, so no organic goat cheese for us.
So we headed off in search of sticks.
This one was much to small. It was rejected immediately.
Theodore Roosevelt made the West African phrase famous "Speak softly and carry a big stick", well this big stick didn't make it too far but only because I forbade it, not because he didn't want it.
So many trees become ill here.
The Naked Recreational Terrain (tee hee) is forbidden to dogs between the beginning of April to the beginning of October.
Children should remain close to their parents at all times and apparently schnauzers aren't allowed at all!

Growing Apatite

My blue apatite is healing itself. The lighter color crystals are hard evidence. I have had the fortune to be the keeper of this stone for 5 years. I look at it in amazement every day.
It was a warm and sunny day, just enough wind to throw the frisbee with Jack. He leaps with the grace of a thousand gazelle. Our frisbee is shot but alas, there are none to be found in the netherworld during the winter. I hope to find one that is only a flat ring, i think that would be best for him.
Frisbee Vertigo.

Untitled

Space is a commodity. I love the idea of doing something with what you've got.
I made a magic candle today. It's a bit off center but the intention was good. It's been a long time since I made one so I am a bit out of practice. This one is for gratitude.

Snap!

Fatty
Fatty
Boom Boom
Oh Snap! Never heard of it, but it was even before the twin towers were built. I lunched in a small eetcafe in Overveen and this, as well as other great old ads, adorned the walls. I thought this one was special, two very stylish girls. From New York

Fire in the disco

It was much worse than what I had thought. To the furthest right corner lay the remains of the Jag. It is a miracle that there is anything left at all.
However, from the ashes...
rises the phoenix, or the other jag. Parts were for this sexy lady. I am not fond of white so i will have it painted, black, what else? With a rich beige interior. She is officially an old timer so no road taxes! Dat scheelt in nederland!
Some people have kids that run around with buckets on their heads, I have a cat that runs around with a sheet over his head.

Surpresents II !! My gratitude is great.

I received another fantastic post today!
Nic and Vance send proof of existence from the other side of the world.
A most prized fire agate pendant. It is beautifully set.
I had no hope of finding one here. I checked the internet but they were small or way too expensive. Thank you so much, I really love it.
I love the glam shot of Jesus in the background.
Beautiful shells and eucalyptus leaves.
Everything arrived in tact and fragrant.
Stuffs
I have the perfect chain for the pendant.
It drops at just the right length.
My new antique rocking chair.
It squeeks and everything.

A Gilded Tarot

I received a tarot pack in the post today. I think it was from my secret Santa. It is a beautiful deck similar enough to rider-waite but certainly stands on it's on artistic merits. I'm happy with it, oh and they are black.
The style is very much the same as the buttons you once put on my website. Perfect for my new psychic tea party endeavors. Thanks Santa, secretly.

The day after the day after New Year's eve

Busy the entire day in my atelier. I can stay until the end of June then the building becomes yet another office building. Tragic
It is a small space, but it's a happy space. I will miss it dearly.
