Enkhuizen

Some very ornate buildings.
A very small part of the marina. In the 17th century it was a very important harbor for the Dutch east indies trade.
Eventually it lost out to Amsterdam. There is a lot of tourism.
Someone turned the lights on.
The 17th Century tower Drommedaris I believe. If it isn't don't yell at me.

What were you doing in Enkhuisen? You've been to more Dutch cities and towns than anyone I know.

I really liked the architecture, well what was left of it, in croatia from nic's photos as well.

Enhuizen was just an excursion. it's one of the nicer places to visit in hollandia.

They just had a bit on the news about almere and how ugly it was with all the new architecture, because it's a new village here. It is very ugly, i wont be visiting there too soon.
